Bonnie's Chocolate World

Bonnie Bishop, owner of Bonnie's Chocolate World, started by learning chocolate making from a good friend, Juliet Ardilio, who is 90 years old and who has been making chocolate for 75 years.

Bonnie's Chocolate World, located at 216 Whittier Road, Rochester, said, "I enjoy making chocolate and this way I'm able to stay at home with my two sons, Wesley, 8, and Benjamin, 2."

She makes the chocolate in her kitchen that is used exclusively for that purpose and sells it in the breezeway of her home where she has opened a shop.

Bishop has more than 2,000 chocolate molds. They range from seasonal favorites, holiday, special occasion, sports, kids favorites and more.

Bonnie's Chocolate World carries nuts and creams, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and sugar-free milk and white chocolate. She also welcomes custom orders.

The store opened for the season on November 1 and will remain open through Mother's Day. Store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 2 to 6 p.m.
